Composition of the package
It is composed of three parts: soft retraction balloon, predetermined retraction balloon and a transparent tube. The balloon is used to retract the brain tissue and create surgical corridor by inflating the balloon. The tube is used to fix and maintain the corridor, and protect brain during the operation to avoid surgical injury.

CCC is a special designed surgical tool set that provide neurosurgeons an innovative and minimally invasive method to create surgical corridor.
Different from traditional brain retractor and single tubular retractor, CCC set combines balloon and tube; the balloon is used to safely and softly retract the brain tissue by inflating it; the tube is used to fix and maintain the surgical corridor, also protect the brain tissue from the surgical damage. After remove the tube, brain tissues and nerves restore to original place as the compression relief.
Features
Balloon
● Soft retraction helps to release CSF (Cerebrospinal Fluid) easily and avoid Intracranial Pressure increased;
● Create operation corridor by physical compression; compare to traditional method, less damage to brain tissue.
Tube
● The tube keeps the surgical area clean and less opportunities of bleeding on surrounding tissues.
● Transparent tube walls makes the surrounding tissue visible, doctors can not only monitoring the surrounding tissues, and also directly see the bleeding place as well as the hemorrhage.
● The tubular retractor provides rigid, constant and symmetrically distributed pressure on the brain tissue
Indications
The CCC set can be used to any brain operations that requires retract the brain tissue. We recommend, but not limited to the following indicated pathologies:
Intracranial hematomas (basal ganglia, lobes, thalamus, brainstem, ventricles)
Intracranial tumors (arachnoid cyst in the brain, peripheral ventricle tumors, brain parenchyma tumors, skull base tumors etc.)
Small-middle size deep-seated brain lesions.

Metal handle
● The handle can be used with transparent tube, thus it is easier and more convenient for doctors to hold by hands or a fixed operation arm.
● The stairs-shape design of the handle can avoid the interference with the patient's scalp, which also gives more operational space to the surgeon.
